Our Scientific Publications

Last year, 40 articles involving SCI appeared in various scientific journals. The number of articles is comparable to the previous years (see figure), but the proportion of manuscript with an impact factor ≥10 has increased from 35% in 2024 to 40% in 2025.

SCI was also well represented with a total of 57 abstracts at the major oncology congresses as well as more local events with one online only, 32 posters and 24 oral presentations. This is a marked increase in comparison to the previous years, when the number of abstracts was always around 40 per year.

As part of our statistical advisory work, we were also able to assist with about 31 smaller and larger non-SAKK projects. This year our work on consulting cases led to 3 manuscripts, 6 posters and one oral presentation.

The statistics team produced 9 clinical trial reports, including 5 final reports for the authorities.
